  • JSS, the Java interface to NSS
  • PSM, mozilla's crypto GUI and "glue" code for NSS

NSS and JSS are used in many products, including
  • mozilla's browsers and email clients
  • Various web, directory, mail and CA servers,
  • word processing and instant messaging products.
SSL, S/MIME, and certificate management are commonly discussed here. The developers of these mozilla components often participate here.

Only members of the mail alias may send email to the mail alias. Only mail sent to the alias from a subscribed email address will be accepted. All mail sent to the mail alias from non-subscribed email addresses will be silently dropped. There is a 40KB size limit for messages sent to this list.

All mail sent to the list must be on topic. Subscribers who spam the list may lose their posting privileges. Subscribers who repeatedly attempt to spam the list may have their posting privileges revoked.

By default all list members receive a copy of the emails they send to the list. If you are a list member, and you do not receive a copy of a message you send to the list, please write to the list moderator and/or administrator. After the problem is corrected, you will then need to resend your message. So, hold on to a copy of the message you send until you know it has reached the list.

This list is copied onto numerous public servers and is read by thousands of people. Therefore any information sent to this list should be considered sent to the public. Messages sent to this list that contain statements telling the reader that he/she must not read it if he/she is not authorized to do so ARE NOT WELCOME ON THIS LIST. If your are unable to send email messages without such warning statements attached to them, please do not send emails to this list. Subscribers who send messages with such warnings to this list may lose their posting privileges.
